Great Deal? - Hard Tonneau Cover

Hi all - New to this community and being an F150 owner (2021 F150 Lariat FX4 SuperCrew). I appreciate all the information this site provides and I just found what appears to be an awesome deal on a tonneau cover and wanted to share it in case someone is looking. It's my first time buying one so I did a bit of research. I'd be lying if I said I'm not a little nervous about the lack of reviews and the fact that Leer covers seem to have fallen off the radar with the internet community or at least they didn't come up in any "top cover" threads I could find but for the price I figured I'd take a shot. If you decided to grab it make sure you put in the LUCKY10 discount code for the St. Patrick's day sale they are running and the total will be $539.00!!!(pretty unbeatable price for a hard cover). The only caveat is it is for select models so make sure you verify it will fit first. I reached out to Leer's customer service for more info on it and to confirm it would fit my truck (it will - 5'5" bed) and they also told me it was the same exact cover as the HF650M they sell (which cost $1174.00). The only difference is that it comes with a FORD logo instead of Leer (who cares?!?). I can't quite wrap my head around why it's so much cheaper because of a logo but I'll add an update if it turns out to be garbage. Otherwise, hope this helps out someone.

Thanks for the heads up. I too have been researching for a few months. I pulled the trigger on this one. When I ordered the only options were for the 6.5’ bed and the 8’ bed. I have the 6.5’. Maybe they were already sold out of the 5.5’ bed?

I ordered mine a couple days ago. I tried the discount code and it said it was invalid.... oh well, the price is still excellent. I noticed they also offer a Military discount if you go through the verification. I have a BakFlip MX4 on another truck and it has been great. I'm hoping this Leer option is just at good at half the price.

Well.... UPDATE... I noticed that I hadn't received any shipping information for my order, even though they did email me an order confirmation. I looked at my credit card account and saw that they initially charged me, but 3 days later refunded the charge. I have no email updates from Leer, and no explanation for the refund. (I hope they send me one for free) I sent an email to Leer asking what the status was of my order, and got no response yet (been 2 days). I tried finding a phone number for Leer and there is no way to contact customer service or sales by phone, all you can do from their website is fill out their contact / e-mail form and wait. Through some creative Googling to find a corporate phone number, all you can locate is 1-800-755-5337 or 574-522-5337. Both numbers don't allow you to speak to a human, and all you can do is leave a voicemail. I did that and nobody has called me back. Perhaps this is one of those "too good to be true" situations?

Interesting, I’ve had multiple email conversations with them. I also only got a confirmation email after I placed my order and didn’t receive shipping info. However, I emailed them and they provided me with the tracking info.

According to the tracking number they provided it shipped yesterday via UPS Ground from Texas and is scheduled to arrive Friday.

Yep-the price went back up yesterday. I've reached out to customer service to see if they will honor it becuase I had it in the cart and when I went to pay, the price had suddenly jumped up.

Interestingly, the Ranger version is still $599. I wonder if they alternate, or if it was a mistake, etc....

I got in before they pulled the deal...and also got the St. Patrick's Day & military discounts. Heck of a deal for just $485! It arrives on Tuesday.

I received mine Friday and installed it yesterday. It Looks great, sits super flush (what I wanted), passed the car wash test with only minimal water at the tailgate and looks to be solid quality.

I can confirm it also does not block the back break light. However, it does obstruct the bed camera but if you had something tall enough in the bed you would still be able to see it.

Installation was straight forward until the part where you secure it to the bed. Figuring out those two clamps required me to walk away and have a beer but after that they went right in ?

Overall, I'm extremely happy with it and for the price it is (was) an unbeatable deal.
