Granger orders with DOT Registration in Missouri

Those of you that ordered from Granger and registered your truck in Missouri, how does registration work? Did Granger send you the title or did the State of Iowa send it to you? I took delivery on 22 June and am still waiting on the title. Just wondering if I should keep waiting or contact Granger.

I picked mine up on 6/13 and just got the paperwork yesterday from Granger.

Went to the title office and was told I needed one of these.

" Identification number and odometer (ID/OD) inspection. All motor vehicles previously titled in another state must be inspected to verify the vehicle identification number and odometer reading of the vehicle. This inspection can be completed by a Missouri authorized inspection station. "

Good luck finding a place that can fit you in before you accrue penalties.

Usually takes at least 2-3 weeks I think. Mine took 3 weeks before they had it to send.

I picked mine up in June 13th and got the Iowa Transfer title from Granger today.

I am in Texas and already had the state inspection done. I went to the tax office and they had me fill out a form and pay the taxes and license fees and I got my new plates. I was surprised how easy it was.

Same happened to me. I’m in Missouri as well. Went to the license office and they instructed me to get that inspection first. I just went to a nearby plaza tire. It took maybe 15 minutes tops. Super quick thing to do on their part.

I can’t remember the wait on the paperwork from Granger but it probably was about two weeks or just a shy over.

My tire shop was booked for a week out. The local Plaza, was 2 weeks, unless I chose to leave it sitting on their lot and maybe they could get to it later that week. Uh, no.

I did find a local Mon n Pop that worked me in but with only one day to spare.

That’s pretty wild. I get it, places are gonna be booked. Where I’m at it’s small enough the big box places are almost like a mom n pop.

I expect them to be booked at either end of the month, for the early birds and the no planners but mid month, I was pretty surprised. Especially for just an OD / VIN verification.
