Does your fairing go and rest on the cab or is there a space there? Just went on our first trip and didn't notice a lot of noise, but was not as quite as I am used to.Yep, had one on mine. Two things to keep in mind:
Here's mine:
- It will definitely impact your mileage on the PB. Somewhat due to the weight but moreso due to the decreased areodynamics.
- If you don't put some sort of fairing up front it generates a significant amount of wind noise in the cab.

Inside the truck when driving. The overhang of the camper is what is causing it.thanks, exactly what i was looking for. by wind noise in the cab, do you mean inside the shell or inside the truck cabin?
I've seen people do it both ways. Either attach a cross bar to the cab and mount the fairing to that or as I did it in my case mount the fairing off of the camper. The challenge with my approach is that the bed and cab move differently so you can have the fairing making contact with the cab or you will get a lot of squeaking at best and damage to your roof at worst. Even with a foam bulb seal on the bottom.Does your fairing go and rest on the cab or is there a space there?
