Which IPC update caused your glare free issues?

It appears to be a result of the newest IPMA updates
Okay I'll wait and see what happens if it comes to me OTA. Canadian build here so glare free has always been enabled.

Side note for everyone: Even after the “fix” they come on instantly now, rather than the ramp we used to have breaking 32 mph. However, cycling the traffic direction fixes all of the other janky behaviors.

I am having no issue either. I have all of the updates applied to all the modules. I have not noticed it operating any differently, thank goodness, as it is one of my favorite ForSCAN mods.
this was also one of my most favorite and useful forscan changes
it was a bit challenging with all the changes to so many modules as i did not want to screw up
it makes night time driving here in the sticks very illuminating

i have found on the major highways 4 to 6 lanes, that they never ramp up, to many lights coming at you from everywhere.

I believe it happened from the IPMA update. I did it via FDRS. This update allows the side camera with signal light while towing. You still have to do forscan changes, but it works. I don't know what other things it changes.

The IPC updates was the 6.8.0. I got OTA. This update if for bluecruise lane change support.

The side of the road you are driving on, rather than the traffic you are meeting.

The graphic in the menu makes it clear as well.
Got it. Thanks for the clarifica

Yes, same for me. I live outside the Dallas area in the sticks too. Big difference on roads around home verses in town. I will have to check their operation closer to see if it is operating differently than before the updates of all the modules.

I have noticed that the audio module updated has made the BO system sound much better, or at least it sounds better to my old, unrefined ears.

I think mine are still ramping up, but given the others seeing something different, I may not have noticed the difference after the updates. If it is the SW, I would assume it will be consistent across trucks. I am probably mistaken and have the same change as y’all have outlined. I will have to watch closer on the next night trip I take.

I would think that the transition from standard to bright would be in the IPC so maybe that is messed up with 6.8.0. I'll try to pay more attention in my commute tomorrow and see if it is fast or still slow change. I do not have the IPMA update yet though so maybe it is in that. ??‍♂

what is hard for me is I 30 between rockwall and greenville
the road surface is DARK and lots of lane wiggles and construction t barriers that block some light from opposing lanes, then BOOM they are gone and the opposing lanes light you up.
this makes the lane centering even more of a helper imo

Tried the "fix" this am and it is definitely an improvement that what is was. Oddly enough it seems as the high beam diodes are more predominant then they used to be when parking towards a glass wall, it looked like they were still activated to some extent.

Thanks @ROBB1 & @Jesse-Infotainment.

Edit - I just noticed in the newest 1.4 IPMA the 706-34-01 added info past the first two spots. and the additions mention GFHB. My as-built for this one indicates a 4. Thinking I should change to an 8.

I have a 22 PB and I have some the glare free lights mod with forscan. It has been working correctly without issue until a few days ago. I updated my IPMA module and yesterday my IPC updated over the air. Now my lights seems to switch to high beam more often and they don't always turn off when lights approach. Also, the don't seem to dim up and down like the glare free is supposed to do. They seem to pop to on and off like regular auto high beams.

The on screen menu choice shows glare free turned on. I also checked all of the needed forscan changes and they are still correct. I thought they might have changed because of the IPMA and IPC updates.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I can't imagine Ford supporting anyone having issues with Glarefree issue.
At least not a non-Canadian truck.
Would they?
Not a chance! Pretty sure the bot just picked up on "issue with my truck" and generated that message.
