Gauge Screen Changes When Answering Call

When using the Steering Wheel button to answer a call (CarPlay) - it automatically moves the center gauge screen to the phone call menu. After the call it seems to stay there. I like to use that screen for the Trip 1 display. Is it possible to stop that? Answering by pressing the answer button on the screen does not do this.

I used Android Auto and I find the same thing happens. It's a number of button presses to get things back to the way I want which is annoying. Hoping it's just another setting that I'm missing.
