The pattern does not match the stx grille. There is no way you made that lower piece from two stx grills. Plus two STX grilles would cost around $1400 why would anyone cut up $1400 worth of grills to make this tiny lower piece. This looks like the lower grille from a raptor that is zip tied in place.
Can you confirm this is what you did, or are you going to try and keep this LIE going?

Never said I cut up two STX grills.

You are correct. In the second pic, I was comparing the original grill with the one I made. It was at that time ziptied to the shell I used to make sure it not only worked but was the look I wanted.

They've since been cut off and the grill has been painted which is the first pic.

I just think when you say you took 2 grills to craft into one lower grille to match the stx grill but you really just bought a raptor grille and fitted it in place it’s not right. This forum is supposed to be a helpful community to share ideas and help others with modding and fixing their trucks. I think he should have posted what he actually did to the truck so that others could use that information.

Having said all that I do think it looks great and I do think it is a great idea!

I totally agree about being helpful and as I said in my post this lower grill is grafted from two different grills. The 21-22 Raptor grill will not mount up in the factory location for the non Raptor bumpers.

The fact that for my first attempt at anything like this and for you to so strongly, yet wrongly presume that it's just a factory Raptor grill mounted in place makes me feel good that I did a decent job with it. Thank you for that.

I will apologize on my end. I was wrong to assume you were referring to stx grills. From the way your first post was worded it read to me as if you cut up STX grilles and were intentionally deceiving everyone.
I will chalk this up as lesson learned on my end, and ask more questions first, and not be so accusatory.
I’m gonna go hide now. ?
