Front camera stopped activating automatically

Can someone help to reactivate my front camera as I approach any object front of vehicle it was working before but suddenly it’s stopped and I have to activated it by pressing camera button

Hmmm. The same happened with me. I just changed the battery from an H6 to H7 and hope this worked out the gremlins that seem to be impacted by SOC.

The front camera on my truck doesn't come on until the front sensor senses something in front of it. Is your front sensor beeping and the camera still doesn't come on?

I wonder if a Sync 4 reset will resolve it. Press and hold both the Power button (center of the volume knob) and the Seek Right button for 10 seconds.

Yes I tried it was happened after software update

Same here. It’s become inconsistent after an update. I park at the same spot each morning, no dramatic weather conditions that should interfere. I’m learning electronics don’t seem to be a super strong point for Ford. 3k miles on my truck and OEM battery is crapping out and gremlins are getting worse and worse. No way will I trust or pay for Blue Cruise. Just got an OBDLink MX+ to verify codes are being thrown, otherwise dealer will do nothing under warranty.

I wish those front cameras stayed on regardless of whether it senses something or not, if you are moving forward and under something like 7 mph. Then the alarms could go off only if it senses something close. I like that feature.

@Harveen Harpreet, it could be the IPMA module which looks after cameras, BLIS, radar and park sensors. It may not have reset properly after the update. If you have FORScan, I would reboot the IPMA. If you don't have it, disconnect the positive battery terminal for 30 minutes, reconnect and test.

Turning this on for my '22 Platinum was the first Forscan update I did. Not sure if this is the problem, but you might take a look at this value in Forscan.

Consider checking AsBuilt in FORScan (connected to truck) against those shown in the first post at https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/adding-forward-sensing-system-2021-king-ranch-w-601a.9039/ . OTA or some such may have mucked it up?

Anyway, hope you figure it out since I bought and IPMA to add this feature to my MY23 302A XLT :|
