I ordered this kit as was told by Fox that it was designed for the PowerBoost's extra weight and shipped with the 2" leveling height pre-set.
Did the passenger side installation today and will do the driver's side tomorrow. All went pretty well.
And of course, it was a major pain to gain access to the engine side top nut on the coil-over as has been discussed so many times. But thanks to others who have posted tips and techniques, I was able to accomplish the passenger side.
I also installed the BDS upper control arms and the SPC full chamber kit.
The passenger side went back together without any issues until I got to the sway bar link. The link bolt that attaches to the knuckle was about 2" higher than the attachment point. I move the link out of the way, installed the wheel/tire. Lowered the truck so the full weight was compressing the coil-over assembly. After some lunch, I raised the truck, removed the wheel and found the link to be about 1" higher than the knuckle attachment point. I'm going to let the truck's weight sit on the coil-over night; but doubt it will have any impact.
I called Fox and they assured me the units ship from Fox pre-set for 2".
Any ideas?
Thanks!
