Forscan shows no adapter found. Using mongoose cable

Anyone ever experience this?

Have used several times in the past with no issues but been a while. Same computer, license good till June, and j2534 toolbox says everything’s happy. Adapter just flashes green light.
Uninstalled both mongoose software,
/drivers and forscan, Same thing.

I’ve got to be missing something simple.

Been forscanin for years. Never ran into this. Trying to find my OBDlink to see if it does the same thing.

No dice, skips right over mongoose and eventually shows no adapter found.
I wonder if windows did an update or something stupid and messed with my ports

I figured it out.
Used the mongoose-plus ford2 v0500 configuration in the drew technologies folder of the start menu and reflashed it. Green light stopped flashing, went solid and forscan seems to be happy with it.
