Hello my friends who use Forscan more often I have a couple questions about readings. I have just started reading PIDs on my '23 powerboost and have noticed a few things which I was wondering if I should be concerned about. I have attempted to look through F150 and Forscan forums but couldn't find answers to my questions so apologies if these are repeat questions.
- My OEM battery (newly installed from dealership 1 week ago) goes from 13V to 12.3V overnight even when plugged into a 2A NOCO trickle charger. I've pulled these values from Forscan while plugged into the OBD port prior to turning the engine over. Is this something I should be concerned about? I have considered installing a different battery all together as I've read over and over again about electrical gremlins caused by low voltage/amperage.
- In Forscan it is saying there is an overall Ampere Hour Charge Loss of 1.0Amp while truck is both off/on. Is this value correct and something I should investigate further? And is it something I should be concerned about long term? It was just in the shop for 2 weeks with a gateway control module issue and is looks like the technician stepped through everything correctly so I would be surprised if he didn't notice a consistent draw.
