FordPass Unlock Lock Remote Start not working

2024 Tremor 302A. Never had issues before today. Lock/Unlock/Remote Start fails but I'm still getting Fuel %, Tire Pressure, Oil Life, etc. so I know the truck is connected. Discovered this morning so it's only been a problem for a few hours.
The only thing I've done so far to troubleshoot is restart my phone.
I'm gonna let it ride for a while to see if it resolves on it's own since the interface provides NO help to know why this is happening.
I've seen a few older posts in other forums about this happening and mysteriously resolving on it's own but wanted to post here to see if others are experiencing the same problem.

FordPass version 5.17.0 updated 10 days ago.
Says this update added a feature to swipe down to update vehicle data in the app.

How often do you drive your truck? If your truck sits for a while and the battery gets low these features won't work.

Do you have any check engine lights on while the vehicle is running, also try opening and closing your hood. If there are any check engine lights on, or the hood is open that feature will not work and it will usually honk the horn when you try to use the remote start. Good luck.

Nearly every day. Don't think it's a low battery. Everything else seems to work fine.

No. All features work with the FOB. It's a problem with FordPass.

When I said it's a problem with FordPass I meant with my FordPass interface but thank you for confirming it's not a global problem!

Well it's working now. Not sure why exactly but I'll share what I did:

This morning it was still not working. I get in my truck to go to work. I start the engine and decided to try to lock the doors from FordPass inside the cab while the truck was running. When I touched the lock button the app refreshed and the doors locked!

Since then, it has worked. I have no idea if that was just coincidence or if the app had to re-sync somehow while the truck was running.

Fordpass is garbage……lock unlock not working often. Everything else good location fuel etc. New H8 battery so the battery isn’t the issue.

and how hard would it be for the locked unlocked button to stay checked. I don’t care to watch it spin for several minutes to see if it locks. Green check mark comes on for a second assuming it locks but you better be watching or you miss it and have no idea if it was successful.

I’m guessing your state of charge on your battery is low. That used to happen to me. Try again after you take a good 30 minute drive in the vehicle.

I've thought the same thing about the state of the locks!

This app interface is a great feature but totally agree it is very clunky and cannot be relied upon to unlock your doors. Mine's a 2024 so I have the keypad as backup.

Yesterday I noticed my app showed I didn't have automatic updates selected. I had to turn it off and back on for the app to match.

I have a 2 month old h8 battery and the truck drives more highway miles than city. Hour ago 20 miles highway to home.

no lock and app says “VEHICLE IS ON”.
