Fordpass points expire?

I feel like I should know this but I'm drawing a blank. Do our fordpass points expire or just roll over. Seems I've heard both they do and don't.

I received the notice. I recently bought something off Ford website and my expiration was extended.

I just looked and found a history and it looks like I last used some July of 23.

one month i get a notice the tier level will drop but points remain ..
then i get a points expire after what seems like a long long time away

Yeah I had some points expire a while back too. I dunno I guess I just need to use them so I don't lose them. I've only go 20,996 points. I gotta figure out what to get tho. Lol

Per the FordPass website: "For FordPass Rewards members without a FordPass Rewards Visa, effective October 1, 2024, their FordPass Rewards Points balance will expire after 18 months of no Points-earn, redemption, or Tier Activity."

My wife got a notification a couple of months ago that hers were going to expire in January. Seems that she never knew that she had them from the two Explorers that she leased and the dealership that does our service had the vehicle under my name, so they always used my points. I used the opportunity and bought myself the FP fender vents and the rear lowering kit for my truck. ?

According to my history they do expire. I’ve lost a bunch. Here’s a sample.

They do expire but sometimes they will redeposit them for you. I had over 20,000 points expire in October of 23' and then in March of 24' they redeposited all of my lost points. No idea how this happened, I didn't even own a Ford from 21' until May 24'

The crazy thing is I sold my previous truck back in 21 and I still receive points when it gets serviced.

my ford pass says my blue tier expires dec 2025, if i dont earn more tiers?

i use points often for oil changes or "stuff"
earned 10473 for buying tires for my grand childs car
