FordPass drops the Pass in ver. 6.0.0

Just updated to v6.. All I can say is Ford's app team.

Version 5 was an absolute fricken masterpiece in form and function compared to the pile of koala crap that's v6.


It looks like they let a 1st year graphic design intern who hasn't progressed past being allowed access to the fat Pre-K crayons run rampant with the UI.
The app icon is now white and completely blends seamlessly into light colored wallpaper backgrounds on iOS 26's liquid ass... Kudos to Ford for their insight on this one.
Remote start, lock/unlock functionality works 30% of the time just 10% of the time.
It can't decide if the truck is parked in my driveway or 50 miles from my house in the middle of a cow pasture before it snaps back to my driveway.
Trailer light check fails to communicate with the truck and produces an error once every 3-4 attempts.
It's randomly displayed a white, blue, and red F150 as well as a Transit van on app load in.
No ability to see if the truck is actually in a locked state and gives the most ridiculous green check mark or red X for 2 seconds as a response when pressing the lock/unlock. Forcing you to have to stare at the stupid UI waiting while it decides of it actually will do what you told it to do or not.
Still missing Zone Lighting Control and PPoB monitoring (knew those wouldn't be included)
The UI also randomly blanks out the remote start, lock, and unlock buttons if the app is just left running.

And for the positives
Tire pressure report is at least accurate.

Your version is pretty out of date. It’s been there for a bit. I’ve had the new one for a while but I have a snap from an older 5.x version as well.

They probably took that away too. Didn't like all the negative comments hurting their intern's feelings.

I use both iOS and Android however I explicitly tested with iOS today and found an older screenshot in my photos. I am not on the beta on these devices

Yup. Been doing that on EVERY update. STILL waiting for PPOB and Lone Lighting functionality. I used to wear them out about my trailer light tester and they finally brought that back.
Everyone needs to keep hammering away at them!

No functions work with the new Ford app after it updated. It is not the usual low battery error. Tried starting, unlocking, etc, with error messages like "Failed to start vehicle" for instance.

I don't know. I am going to start it from the key and charge the battery this morning. Maybe they just changed the messages to non-helpful ones, or maybe you need to start it manually one time to sync up with the new app.

The FP6.0 didn't change anything for me except looks. I don't have connectivity but I did pay the $99 Navigation update with my points.

Either starting the truck manually or charging the battery caused the app to start working again.
