FordPass...disappointing

Anyone else generally disappointed that in 2021, for the new gen launch of their brand halo model the FordPass app only allows you to turn car on/off and lock/unlock doors? Where’s the windows up/down, tailgate open, horn honk, bonus points for remote camera viewing, etc?

Our 2020 Navigator has this, as well as “Phone-as-a-Key” feature, and is based on older Sync3 technology. I’m totally disappointed with Ford.

My 2018 BMW had wireless apple carplay, all the other app capabilities I mentioned above including the remote camera viewing.

I agree. I think the limited functionality of FordPass is a bit silly.

Ford isn't a software/app company. Yes it is crappy/has no innovation. It goes hand-in-hand with the shoddy PowerUp updates for the F150 Sync4.

Why give it for free when years later you can try to monetize it?
