New member and need your help. I rcvd an update on my 2021 Ford F150 Powerboost and notification via Ford Pass App on 18Feb2023/26Apr2023/2May2023/4May2023. Only update that will give my explanation was 4May2023 was 4.2.4 upgrade.
Either the 26Apr23 or 2May23 update removed the icon on the Features tab on the Infotainment system that displayed whether the vehicle was on Electric or Hybrid Power. Did anyone else lose this Feature? The only way you can tell whether you are on Electric now is the dash will show the Oil gauge pegged far left at Low. So how do I know if my oil is Low while I am in Hybrid (using gas) and Not good or Low due to using electric? Cmon Ford! How do I report this? TY.

4.2.4 does update your instrument panel cluster. Not sure what the changes are yet. I got the same update 1-2 days ago, but I haven't noticed anything different yet. I have an ICE truck, though.

I have 4.2.4 and am still able to display Eco Coach (I think that’s the name of the screen) in MyView on the dash to see when I’m in electric only vs hybrid vs charge mode.

The other indicator other than your oil gauge going to zero would be your tach - if it is at zero and you’re moving forward you are in electric. If it’s not at zero and your oil gauge is at zero then you have a problem.

Exactly what icon was removed? Im assuming it was the "Power Flow"?

The Pro Power is still there depicting the outlets in the bed, it was the Power Flow icon that was removed that showed power flowing from battery under truck or the engine. Thanks

Saw a YouTube video demoing Powerboost capabilities and in the Infotainment System > Features > Power Flow (that has recently been removed and Ford didn't advertise); Power Pro (bed outlet flow is still there); Power Flow showed Battery or Gas providing Power to engine

I received 4.2.4 the other day and haven't noticed any gauge cluster changes, but I'll take a closer look.

I agree with others that OP is referring to the Power Flow feature on the infotainment display. I'm going to check that in a few minutes to see if I still have it.

That’s interesting. My power flow doesn’t show the outlets. Only the hybrid/gas/battery status. Useful if you want to know why the engine is running.
