Ford bed extender & storage box

I have the Ford right-hand side undercover storage box and I'd like to add a Ford bed extender.

Does anyone know if both can be installed together? And can the bed extender be flipped into the bed when the storage box is latched in-place?

I just installed a Swingcase, looks like those bed extenders use the same mounting points as swing case > remove taillight, screw through 'tailgate stop'

The swinging container tops aren't at the right height for fast and easy access to things in the bottom of the container when standing on the ground. Additionally, mine were fiddly after a while and took a bit more effort to latch successfully. This could have been operator error, but I sold the truck before it bothered me enough to figure out.

Never wanted or used the bed extender.

ive looked into this. 99% sure you can not have both. as mentioned they mount in the same spot. the box folds out and needs that occupied space to function.
