Is a BOT! Stay away from this POS and whatever you do... DON'T PM this worthless troll any of your info!

Ford Motor Company KNOWS who you are... (YOU PAID THEM TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!)

They KNOW what problems you're having with your truck and if it sometimes seems like they really don't give a shit, that's only because THEY DON"T!

They really don't!

They really couldn't give a flyingF UCK about YOU OR your business unless you're a "FLEET" customer.

THEN you get a FoMoCo REP. NOT this worthless POS troll!

Let your Dealership handle it and if you're not getting any "love" from them...
GET AN ATTORNEY!

1) Not a bot, real person equivalent to newbie tech support following a very specific script.
2) They tried to help with my previous truck but it just upset the dealer because I got Ford involved instead of talking to them.

The dealer was upset you tried to resolve an issue thru the online community first? My experience with car dealers has been about 1 in 10 are actually decent to deal with. I had one drop my truck off a lift and deny it. I’ve had oil changes where neither the oil or filter were changed. Their reputation is earned.
It is also of course in fords financial interest to ignore one off issues and play fast and loose with their warranty. It’s scummy but it’s business. It’s why I’m intrigued by this “bot” that pops in here. I’m trying to determine if it is only showing up where ford knows a real issue exists and conversely ignoring the thread that don’t see much traffic. On the one hand, it resembles hood customer service, on the other hand, it wreaks of damage control.
Thank you for confirming that it does indeed put you in contact with the manufacturer.

I think it used to be a bot, but now it acts more like an intern following a script. That said, I don’t really think it matters. I buy a lot of cars and I’ve had issues with all of the Big 3. If your dealer isn’t helping you, you’re not getting helped. GM hooked me
up with an extra year of warranty after waiting for 11 months on a part, but according to the dealer, the manufacturer did nothing to help them obtain the part.

I think problem is now too many forums for them to have any real hope of keeping up. They used to be very active on F150forum 10+ years ago but there were not a lot of forums for F150 then that were popular. They were also active on Ranger forum I was on 20 years ago.

There were news stories about how Ford was fully embracing the internet with a full team dedicated for forums and other social media. It might be a team of 10 interns now, but they have never stopped.

Thank you for your detailed post. Even though I have read it fully and know I could just click on your avatar and send you a message, would you please private message me your VIN, name, birthdate, social security number, favorite football team and girl you lost your _______ to?
I'll be sure make a public spectacle of offering help but won't do anything...
Thank you,
FordBot

Don't waste your time. I complained about my heated steering wheel having a cold spot. The "official" account told me to pm them, so I did. They took my name and phone number.

I then randomly get a call from an unknown number, it was some customer service center for Ford, who was confused why a ticket was opened with them. They said they didn't see any recalls so was wondering what's up. I explained and they then said, well I don't show it's been to the dealer to have the issue diagnosed, and I was like ya, duh, I simply posted on a forum.

They then say they are going to close out my ticket until I bring it to the dealer, which obviously I can do without them being involved.

TLDR: Don't waste your time, an uneducated person will reach out with no idea what your complaint is about and they won't be able to help you.
