My fluttering noise is definitely wind getting past the door seal. New weather strip helped. I think the door needs alignment at this point, to stop the noise. Taking it back to dealer Friday. I will keep everyone informed what they find.

Picked up my truck from the dealer. Looks like the fluttering noise from the driver’s door is resolved. They had the body shop do a door alignment and that finally did the job. I guess taking it to the dealer 3 times was the charm.

Update on the fluttering noise. Aligning the door helped, however in cross winds it comes back. My latest observation is the door window shakes near the top in cross winds and impacts the weatherstripping seal. So frustrating that the truck has been to the dealer 3 times for the same issue and it’s not resolved. Truck has only 16k in miles. Ford, you disappoint me.

Yep as of right now on both side I do believe it is the seal in the upper back corner. I've put some strip of felt in there and so far the past 30 days it has not come back. Not saying it is fixed but we so far so good. We've had some really windy days too but only time will tell.

Could you be more specific? What exactly did you do? Got pics?

Alright here is what I did.

Bought this felt strip tape. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CPN1WRS?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1

I pushed the tape all the way into the top and back side and made a template for seal. Currently both Front doors are cut similar. However I'm not sure the bottom of the L shape is necessary. I think the key is the felt is touching the top and back sides. Either this creates just enough pressure on the glass or just changes the airflow to not cause the fluttering sound.

Your results maybe different but I'm over 30 days with no fluttering. I have a pano roof too and if I would put it on vent and it was even the right cross wind it would flutter with the windows up. This so far also has not happened anymore.

I also have not noticed any additional wind noise either from the felt.

can you take a picture of your door a little further away so I can tell where the location of the felt should be placed?

My door looks very different but can make a loud fluttering noise around 75 and especially if there’s a cross wind. It seems to be in the upper rear of the drivers door. Here’s my door.

Here’s the frame on the chassis. It’s a 23 Powerboost.
