Hello folks,

I made a video recently of my oil filter after a couple hundred miles on the Valvoline R&P. There was quite a lot of particles after just a couple hundred miles… is this normal…?

What's your total mileage on the truck? Did you get it new or used? Was it necessary to run the Valvoline Restore & Protect? Perhaps it has detergents and other agents that are loosening up particles that were once stuck in sludge or something.
If it's low mileage, I'd be concerned since it shouldn't have any sludge buildup yet. And it looks like your are pretty thorough in your maintenance practices.
I'm going to try it in a 2006 Nissan 350Z with just over 100k miles. Runs great but burns a lot of oil. It's a known oil control ring issue that Nissan created when they wanted to up the HP in the 2006 engines. I'm wondering if the oil could loosen them up and get them to seal better.

Hi friend! It’s 63k miles. My current plan is to run R&P indefinitely. I like that it cleans the engine and keeps it clean. I haven’t found any documents saying that you can’t run it indefinitely.. unless there’s something im missing! I am running it on a 2011 Nissan Sentra that had timing issues.. I also made a video of it on my YouTube channel. Will report on that after ~3K miles.
