Under 1,000 miles on new F150 PB. Fault occurred after spirited highway entrance. In concurrence came fault code U2108 from the IPMA module, this is just to prevent the user from setting cruise control while the PCM is faulted.
In my case the cause was a missing E-Clip on the passenger side turbo wastegate controller arm, lower side. She has a C-Clip on there temporarily until she's at the dealer for a new windshield (which I've been waiting on for weeks). Had to go through the wheel well to get to the damn thing, not a cool morning.
Given that I've already had the low battery issue intermittently, if this thing didn't have a big enough generator to run my central AC through hurricane season she'd be swapped out for something simpler.
Adding: Forscan used to reset code after band-aide added.
