Hi people, after religiously running in my '23 KR 5.0, I've been gradually increasing throttle inputs in overtaking etc. Everything has been perfect, but now, when I'm starting to go WOT, it will kick back gears fine, but then I get a very loud howling noise which seems to be located in the Transmission / Torque Converter area. The sound is as if there was a large belt slipping on a pulley (I'm sure there isn't one)
It will be going in soon for scheduled service, but wondering if anyone has experienced the same situation.
Extra info:
- happens regardless of drive mode
- happens in 2H so the 4WD system seems irrelevant to the problem
- truck behaves totally normal and no evidence of the issue until WOT.
- no powertrain-related DTCs
Any insights appreciated ?
