I saw that, but center console lid doesn’t justify for those buttons delete either. You can simply put a washer in both the coil spring for the center console lid and call it a day! Working on getting that tailgate button and a few more pictures.
The location of some of switches is baffling. For example, why have the traction switch in the radio cluster? I have to think some of these decisions are driven by cost savings and don’t make much sense from a user utility POV.Had my dad send me these. Ford messed up when they moved all the buttons from above the radio in 2025 and took buttons away (balance/tone, source, and screen off) to add the hazard, camera and the traction button between the volume and seek knob. Also, the start stop button relocation. The blank plate up top is weird to see. Don’t forget about the cargo camera delete. I am glad we opted for 24 and not 25.
Yes they did, big time. I noticed that, tbh I use that screen off button a lot especially during highway drives during the night. I’m with you there, 100% glad I got into a 2024 and not waited for a 2025. Most of the 2024 stock where I am is almost gone, even Raptor stock is almost gone. On the 2025’s I believe so but haven’t confirm the cargo camera delete. Maybe OP can confirm if his dad’s Platty has one since it is a 2025.
Now I’m second guessing myself if the dash is straight across like that now, or if it dips around the screen like the 21-24. Iv got a list of things to double check when I see him this week.If you look closely at the build site rendering, they appear to have been there all along, ugh. I noticed the Hazard on the radio cluster buttons before but just assumed it was a rendering, they're often incorrect.
