Yeah, the timing sucks for the people that had to wait to order or buy. It just seems like Ford continues to cheapen what are supposed to be “premium luxury trucks”. They sure aren’t lowering the prices for less content.
lol, the reality is what I’m getting for the 12k (difference between the 21 and the 25) is hood “vents”, HUD, a Dodge ram like tailgate door and Zero miles

I don’t remember what it was now, but there was something that was deleted on one of my explorers and on the invoice it stated a credit for the deletion $125 or $200 I really don’t remember but I asked my salesman if it was possible to have it installed for that price to he answered “absolutely not”

I finally found a video of a 25 on YT. It's just photos stitched of an XLT. Shows the same button blank across the top.

2017 F150 Lariat, 2025 Lariat 502a (ordered)
I was just looking at this last night. I bet they pulled all the wiring out if I had to guess since they stripped it from all trims dang near, but its four wires straight from the keypad to BCM module so wouldn't be terrible to add really. As long as you can enable it and everything, should be a simple add.
They most likely removed it. Hopefully the BCM has a provision to add the wires needed. The wiring diagrams should be available soon since the 25's are starting to hit the lots.

Few more pics, still can’t find a tailgate release button inside anywhere.

Very nice truck, I'm going to be ordering a Lariat in that color pretty soon. I would've liked to ordered a Platinum because I like the grill and hood better, but I want the 5.0 and it isn't available in that trim anymore.

Welcome to the Raptor world! Now we're above all these peasants... Jkk haha! ? It's true what they say, once you get a Raptor--it's tough going back to a regular F-150 lol. 100% with you on the R button, one of the best features!
Peasants?! haha I would love a Raptor sadly I like the 157" wheelbase.

Plus leather became pleather in 2025 lariats
From what I've understood is Lariat seats have been "pleather" for a while. they are "leather trimmed" whatever exactly that means. Look at Platinum and KR and they indicate the seats are leather.

Lack of above-screen buttons removes the possibility of even going w/ the 21's HVAC w/ digital readouts. You'll lose hazards, cams, etc...

Curious if the wiring is still back there are they're just going to town deleting wires from the harnesses.
the HVAC module doesnt have those buttons so you still can add the 21 with digital readouts. its separate IIRC

Hahaha was just joking around, usually everyone’s goal is to get one so you’ll get one soon! ?? but a 6.5 bed Raptor would be interesting—doubt it’ll ever happen though for the Raptor line.

Just thinking out loud. Do the trucks with the pro access gate have the button inside to release the gate still? If the gate was open like a barn door would the button let it drop and break something? Not sure how the 24s are.
I'm not sure about the button placement but I was informed that the progate being open defeats the "regular" tailgate function and vice versa

Please don't tell me that Platinum doesn't have HUD? I saw it in their order PDF that they removing the HUD for 2025 but for lower trims:
  • HUD changes and removal - ONLY in high trim level packages like KR and Platinum

Also, could you check and see if the visors have the HomeLink removed too? I want to see if this is true..
  • HomeLink removed
The accessory list that they sent me for my truck states HUD, but my salesman warned me that they were having supply problems and HUD wasn't a sure thing; we shall see

I wonder if HUD was deleted if it would show up on the window sticker as a delete/credit?

It would tbh; usually most of the deletes would show on the window sticker. Take AS/S delete and heated steering wheel delete when they did them, they credited it back on the window sticker.

Great info - thanks. I just looked up my window sticker again (my KR is now on a train) and it shows no deletes (for whatever that is worth).... Hopefully that means the HUD is still included.

Right, I'm retarded :ROFLMAO:
HAHAHA! Yeah I was like wait a minute

Oh I know my comment came off dry my bad haha
I’d have a Raptor right now if I could but really didn’t like the 5.5’ bed F150’s I had prior and made it a point to go 6.5 and haven’t been happier.
A 6.5’ Raptor would be amazing but Ford doesn’t love the 157”wb fan club couldnt even get the black appearance package

anyway, I never mentioned that the truck the OP posted is absolutely gorgeous! But no tailgate button!?? All the other changes aren’t tasteful either. WTF Ford

Haha it’s all good! It’s tough to make a decision between the two, 6.5 would look good but I got over it trying to get into parking stalls lol so stuck with the 5.5!

I know, hopefully the next redesign in 2027 they might give love to those 6.5 owners or least give them a BAP package!

Tailgate and Pro Power buttons are gone for 2025.
