Yikes. Takes me back to the 08 GTI and the auto leveling bi-xenon HID's. They didn't have the adaptive components like the Audi's but were still a PIA if the leveling motors died. You could get the projector out from the rear access cover but had to remove the ballast and bake them to soften up the sealant to separate the lamps just to get the leveling motor out. I loved/hated that car...

LoL! I assume you had the same 2.0 FSI engine. I love my little four banger. It’s got a few mods and APR stage 2+ tune. APR High pressure fuel pump, VDO Boost gauge, Billie, boat down pipe, comp cat, then straight to the resonator. Intake flap runner delete, H & K cup springs, heavier rear sway bar, APR Carbonio intake, Alzor 18 inch Audi Rally clone wheels, Hawk track, brake pads, and drilled, slotted rotors. ECS Tuning poly bushings on all corners, and SS braided lines as well. R8 coil packs and plugs. All fluids changed to racing specs. It’s a quick little bugger!

But I get it, those German cars can be really finicky and overly sensitive to check engine light issues. Luckily, I use TAG-VGA, software, and OBD II Hex code link to diagnose and fix every time it has the hiccups.

Very slick looking truck! Did you disassemble the badges to paint the blue parts? I want to do the same to mine. I want to match the wheel color and it looks like you were able to do that or at least get close. Do you know the paint brand/code?
I also want to get rid of the chrome trim on the headlights but it's inside the clear lens and don't want to bust it apart to do that. Painting over it probably wouldn't look very good either. :( Anyone seen someone modify the chrome trim?
Thanks,
Yea, the badge is disassembled and glued back together.. lots of vids on Utube for the process
