I have been strongly considering a roque squadron red leader theme on mine (rapid red with flat black accents)

That would be pretty sick. He was great to work with getting the mock ups done. We'll just see how they turn out.

I got badge king as well.
Expecting my set to arrive within the next week.
I'll post up when I mount them.
I'm going with a Ford Performance look on my truck, making it sporty with Ford accessories to have it appear factory.

My truck, well when its built, will have the flat black fender badges. I just ordered these to replace the stock badge portion.

I mean no one cares about the trim level, right?

You can get the BAP XLT ones that Ford sells with the BAP packages but it'll definitely be a long wait.
I wonder if you could order the badge seperate from the whole vent / badge combo. Since I have a sport and the vent is already black, it's not really required. Just want to black out the 'F-150 XLT' portion that is chrome.

I doubt that you can since the rectangular badge is sort of riveted to the vent piece. The badge has plastic pins that are inserted into holes in the vent piece and then the ends of the pins are melted and flattened to fasten the badge to the vent. To remove the badge you can drill out the melted part of the pins sort of like you do when you want to remove a rivet.

Negative, you have to order the entire vent, as it’s plastic riveted to it, same as the front/rear emblems. You can take apart your existing, just drill/shave the plastic rivets and remove out the badge part off the vents. Vents are very easy to remove off the truck. Once the chrome letters are separated, just clean it throughly, sand it, hit it with adhesion promoter, primer, paint, then 2K clear coat. Put it back together with plastic epoxy or superglue, you’re done. (Speaking from experience as I’m doing a lot of painting of the rear and front FORD emblems for friends here haha).

Negative. There are many places that sell just the removable rectangle top part of the badge. For much less than the entire piece. 30 secs with dremel seperates the 2 pieces.
