That looks clean! Now if only there are options on their website for us Canadians! ?
Monster Trucker, this is EXACTLY what I want to do as well! I've been looking for some vinyl that I can use to "wrap" them to make them satin. I agree that with the body-colored bumpers, any chrome is overkill; my preference is to make it all satin. Keep me posted if you find anything.I've been seeing amazing fender badges on this group.
As plain as this sounds, does anyone happen to know if there is a swap or alteration possibility for the 2022 F-150 Platinum fender badges/emblems, exterior door handles, tow mirror caps made to satin aluminum or a brushed finish?
I would really want to change those shiny chrome details to satin aluminum like on the Limited models. I don't particularly like the interior of the Limited, but prefer the exterior finishes over the Platinum chrome finishes, and don't want to upgrade to a Limited for the sake of just those options. ;/
I replaced mine with black flags
They are the taped on kind, unfortunately not the clip in place like the OEMs. Make sure the area is VERY CLEAN before putting them on!
They do look good!
Looks like someone just put a sticker over it honestly.I'm trying to source the Ford Performance ones.
I haven't taken delivery of my truck yet so do the badges on the vents just come off with new ones adhered in its place?

Ford won’t sell you these exact Ford Performance ones unless your truck came with it. I don’t know why but I went back and forth with them, they won’t do it. However you can try to find someone who can make the same exact insert like that, to make it look exactly like that and get the rest of the fender assembly painted in gloss black. The badges come off those vent covers once you remove them off the truck. They’re plastic soldered behind it so just use a small dremel to grind them off, they just pop out.I'm trying to source the Ford Performance ones.

For your fender badge, did you spray the whole thing with PlastiDip? And did you do anything special to get a nice clean cut off around the edges? I might try this out on the weekend as a first step towards a chrome delete on my Sport.I Plasti Dip'd my fender badges and they came out good enough for me. I also did the grille and tailgate emblems just to see what they would look like before spending $$$ on custom painted ones.
I cleaned the letters good and then masked off everything but the large textured rectangular area. I gave it 4 coats of PastiDip and then one coat of Glossifier. After it dried for about 30 minutes I began to peel it but I first used an Xacto knife and lightly scribed around the F-150 letters and also around the perimeter of the long skinny raised rectangle that has the Lariat letters. This was the second time I attempted it. The first time I learned that the small Lariat letters are hard to peel cleanly so I decided just to leave the PlastiDip on the entire rectangular area. For your fender badge, did you spray the whole thing with PlastiDip?
