FDRS Login Failed

Has anyone seen this issue on FDRS? I have uninstalled, reinstalled, checked my internet, used network diagnostics before logging in, created a new account, and more to troublehsoot. I cannot log in at all.

Looking for any ideas

Common issue for first time FDRS users. Most people have success by installing an older version of FDRS to get in. Try this one:

Did you try both non-dealer logins? Is your user name a full email address?

That would trip someone up if they have not used FDRS for a while with the switch from username to email. Login to motorcraftservice.com first before trying FDRS and verify your login works there.

Farmtruckman, your info shows you are in Dubai. I’m no expert on overseas logins (or many other things for that matter) but I think that might be your issue. I think people have to use a VPN to make FDRS think you are in the USA. Not sure about that though.

Yea, I've been working with him for months with several complicated issues that we had to circumvent to get him updated. He has been using a VPN. I am not sure what it going on now that he can't log in, though.

Ford is getting more sophisticated in detecting and blocking unauthorized FDRS use. Not sure that that’s what’s going on here, but it’s easy to check. Create a new username and password, register it with motorcraftservice.com and see if you can get into FDRS more than once. If the first login is successful but the second is not, then the current method for circumventing FDRS restrictions has failed.

@JEB ...just wondering if Ford has locked out VPN logging in, would using Teamviewer or some type of remote desktop to connect to a PC connected to the US internet possibility work? The US PC that is logged onto FDRS controlled by a no US PC.

I’d rather not comment or advise on the effectiveness of methods to evade Ford’s user agreements.
