I have this 7 yr old win 10 Acer Aspire ES 15 just for FDRS / PTS and any Ford files I have. I bought a new Windows 11 laptop about 6 months ago for household stuff. I put a new battery in the Win 10 laptop when I took it over for the truck stuff. SSD is next. I have cloned many HDD's over the years at work. We had a locker full of cloned backup HDD's for the machines.

I just finished resetting the laptop back to what it was when I first got it. Acer has a restore to original. Installed all the Ford software and all seems not bad, so far. Only thing is that Office 365 installed instead of Office 2017 version that it had. Have to change that and then I will clone a SSD and change out the HDD. Does seem a little faster.

Uninstall and forget about office 365, it's a subscription based program, ditch it. I'll pm you a link tomorrow from work, for a full licensed office 21 pro you can download and install for $40.00. With the the product key. Do this after installation of the ssd.
