Meanwhile, I’m trying to come up with a convincing explanation for the secretary of treasury. Any suggestions??
kitchen pass....tell the treasury its actually cost savings rolled into the passenger enjoyment experience package. the lack of bass loss will enhance the MCS functions
if you do not have MCS seats then request additional funding for new subs

Damn it. I already have your integration that keeps the factory roll off....and it works great. Anyway we can get some credit to get the other one that fixes it?
Yeap, purchase the new harness setup and we will send you a return label for the old harness for a refund :)

Does this harness plug into the B&O amp? So the keyloc is powered by the trucks B&O factory amp like we don't need to run additional power from the battery correct? If that's the case I have a hs10 with the factory radio and I'm just fudging with the gain knob.
So we never want to use the factory power or ground. You will connect the power/ground of the KeyLOC to the power/ground you ran from the battery to your HS10. That's how the KeyLOC receives its power. Also, since the KeyLOC is converting the signal to "Low-Level", you will need to use the remote turn-on from the KeyLOC to turn on/off the HS10 since DC Offset only works on "High-Level".

I thought setting the EQ to flat in forscan was supposed to fix this?
This is for the B&O systems only, ForSCAN will unfortunately not fix this issue... On the Non-Amplified, you can remove the EQ, but the bass roll-off only happens on the subwoofer, not the interior speakers.

Just ordered mine, currently using a LC2I tapped to the factory sub and it doesn’t work well, looking forward to fixing this.
Please come back with your feedback, interested to see the difference.

I have a standard XLT base system (non B&O). Does the Forscan change work as well as the Kicker LOC if I'm just doing door speakers (not adding a sub)? If I do add a sub, will the Forscan change work too? Sorry if you already answered this

If you use ForSCAN, you can turn off the EQ and not need a KeyLOC. This ForSCAN trick only works if you are upgrading to an aftermarket amplifier since the EQ to flat in ForSCAN will make your interior speakers now play subwoofer bass.

For the Non-Amplified Trucks
When only adding a subwoofer, use a Kicker KeyLOC
When adding an aftermarket amplifier, use ForSCAN to remove the EQ

Is this an alternative to the Zen A2B?
No, the ZEN is to upgrade the entire system. This harness is to only add subwoofers and retain all of the factory speakers powered on the factory amplifier.

I wish someone would find a less expensive solution to this nightmare B&O system other than the $780+ Zen unit that steers most away from upgrading their speakers. It's ridiculous.
