Owned a well equipped 21 302a XLT PB. Run Run Run and why are you still holding on. You best have a well thought out back up plan on how to get from point A to B without having to walk while it is in the dealership months on end waiting to be repaired.

Traded that POS for a 22 302a XLT 2.7EB payload package truck and now just coming to the end of the 3-36 bumper to bumper with only the normal maintenance and Ford required service bulletins and recalls being done to it.

Don't all sunroofs eventually leak?

I mean, I'd run from a truck with a sunroof even if it didn't leak, but people want what they want.

Maybe just lucky but 5 consecutive Fords with sunroof (2) and pano roofs (3), and no issues.

The panoramic roof on my Tremor was a cause of a long delay (one year from order to delivery), but I was not in a rush because I had a 21 lariat 502A FX4 Sport, which other than the colour (Space White) I was happy with. I love having the brightness of the sky above me on a long road trip. I suppose if I had one that was problematic, I might then reconsider it but until then I’m willing to take that risk.

I find the sunroof part interesting. Ultimately my 23' Lariat was traded back in because it wouldn't stop leaking. there was quite a bit of interior water damage. Ford refused to replace the speakers that water was dripping from, but replaced one of the modules. They never offered to replace the sunroof. The problem with the sunroofs is how they can leak into other things including modules and wire harnesses. One day I went back in the shop to get my proof of insurance. They had my entire interior ripped apart including seats. Every piece of plastic trim had a nick on it where you can see they pulled it off. This included broken pieces as well. They didn't replace any of the clips/pieces that they broke. I was only 10 months into the loan and there was no way in hell I was going to continue to pay after the amount of damage done to my truck.... and the sunroof that apparently they couldn't repair?? Later on I learned that a lot of guys are just sealing the inside with automotive caulk.

My point is I would do your research and only if you can get it for one hell of a price. Like others have mentioned I would definitely get Ford's extended warranty.

Im on pano roof number 6 no issues with any of them, as for the OP question get the service history find out what was actually done ? My opinion is lemon trucks should be crushed period !
