Nice... I just ordered some black light polish to try from the same company. Figured if hydro was good a polish specific for black would be even better lol

I have a 2021 Lariat FX4 and I’m considering removing/replacing the FX4 decal with one more complimentary to the trucks Carbonized Gray color. I just don’t like the red in the stock decal. Any suggestions/advice? Thanks

I’m changing my FX4 decal also. I found this one that the dealership is going to put on for me when the truck comes in.

I have a SQ two-tone 501A with bench seat on order. Haven't got a VIN yet so I can still add options. Reading alot about how small the mirrors are and I really want the tow mirrors but have to add the 360 camera which I dont need or want to pay for. what are the odds I can add tow mirrors at a later date (Ford or aftermarket)?

I have to make a quick correction my my post, I use the Chemical Guys Hyrdo Speed. This stuff:

Works amazing for maintaining my base wax job, and and providing a deep gloss.

The Hydro Slick is designed to be a base coat when the paint is bare clear coat, the Hydro Speed is designed to go over, or build on the base coat.

Can I ask you if they’ve been on long? I got another response that said the decals started peeling after first wash and were installed by body shop so he thought it wasn’t an installation issue. Thanks

Got a 7/11/21 Production date and an estimated delivery of 7/28 from the tracker this morning. It is a KC build so it came off the line just before the start of the 7/12 two week shutdown. Hopefully it is fully built and not parked somewhere lacking chips. It is showing up in palsapp with a freight ID but nothing else yet. I went into the dealer today for a bid on my '03 F150 trade in. Not exactly feeling the love there so I'll shop it around.

a few weeks, washed it yesterday (at a car wash for a change). seems to be ok but I have no guarantees, they were cheap enough at $27/pr

Sorry. Just realized I didn’t properly answer your question. The Hydro Speed stuff is very easy to apply yourself. Spray on, wipe off with a dry microfiber. That’s all there is to it.

It’s recommended to apply in the shade/garage while the paint is cool rather than baking in the direct sun. I’ve done it both ways and it still works really well.

Recent order submitted on 07/07. I’m super excited! This will be my first new vehicle and I wanted to treat myself. I was told 3 months but I know it’s a toss up. If there are any parts/options that may delay it, I’d like a heads up. Thanks!
