Exterior lights after locking vehicle length?

I'm noticing that the exterior lightning incliding mirrors, head lamps, tail lamps, fog lights stay on for a certain period after exiting vehicle and locking it. I also noticed when I had the truck in my garage and closed garage door, exited locked vehicle, lights dimmed to off immediately.?‍
Is this because daytime vs night? Garage is dark.

Also notice that when driver door is open, I get a constant ding dong alert. Don't remember this upon getting the truck.

Ok so. I turned the lights to on then back to auto. I'm not sure what they were on because the light wasn't illuminated until I changed them.

So I always keep them on auto but...I could have bumped it or turned them to in when cleaning. ??‍?‍

I find when I lock the truck with the button on the inside of the door, all lights stay on for awhile. If I lock the truck with the fob or the door keypad, They turn off much much faster.
