Browsing my Ford app today and noticed a link to “customer satisfaction programs”

Clicked the link and lists CSP 24N04

Quick Google of that CSP….

This program provides a one-time replacement (if needed) to the Exhaust Gas Heat Recovery

(EGHR) system for 15 years of service or 150,000 miles from the warranty start date of the vehicle,

whichever occurs first.

This is a one-time repair program.

If a vehicle has already exceeded either the time or mileage limits, then this repair will last through

December 31, 2025 for Maverick HEVs.

Coverage is automatically transferred to subsequent owners
.”

I hadn’t seen this discussed on the forum before but I have to say I’m please with this extension. Heat exchanger was one item I get a bit nervous failing (the other is the 10 speed)

Had mine replaced yesterday. Ford dropped it down from $900 to $255. My wife found a letter from September explaining there may be a recall coming next year and for those who’ve already had the repair, a refund. Trucks been in the shop five or six times since September. First few times were for the catalytic converter reprogramming, then ultimately replacement under the recall and now this. I hope things get better because I really wanna get a new one, but my lovely bride has told me we’re not getting another Ford. I love the power boost with a 7.2 generator, so we’ll see how it goes from here.

Just checked my app and I have this campaign listed also. Hadn't noticed it before. I'm sure we will be getting a letter in the mail.

This situation is getting beyond my knowledge so I apologize if this is a dumb question but is this extended warranty at all related to the exhaust heat exchanger problem people have had in this thread? I have this problem and the dealership is telling me that it isn’t covered by my extended warranty and want me to pay $1600 to fix it. I told them I’ll take it elsewhere. Thanks!

My take is that yes it should apply. At least if it is your first replacement.

Check in your Ford app. “Service” at the bottom. Then at the top you can tap on “customer satisfaction programs”

Customer Satisfaction Program Campaign# 24N04. Looks like a quick Google search, at least for Maverick hybrids that are also part of this, includes broken heat exchangers that throw a code and also mentions leaks being covered.

Good luck.
