I like those 13th gen wheels. What size tires, 275/60?
Thanks, they're 275/60R20 Continental TerrainContact A/T tires.

I just installed an AWE dual rear exit with resonator on my 2020. The system is absolutely beautiful and from what i can tell sound nearly identical to the corsa, maybe 'slightly' louder. I'll take some in cabin sound readings and compare to what was posted here.

Bringing up an old thread....
After 3 years I figure I need to change something on the truck.
I figure it's sound.....no drone,not too loud
I've researched alot.....really no farther ahead.
Resonator delete.....cheapest(in Canada still $300 for a factionfab),easy to do myself tho.
Not sure if it's worth it for minimal...if any change in sound.
Multiple cat backs.....Borla touring to me sounds great but very pricey.
SPD HX series sounds pretty good and price is half that of Borla.
Factor in Canada.....finding what I want is sometimes a problem.
Just about got a headache researching this.
My 11 EB took a little work but it ended up sounding pretty good....at the time I believe it was a 4" Flo Pro cat back with a resonator(maybe the twister)

Reducing the back pressure may possible increase horsepower in some circumstances but it will also shorten the life of the exhaust valves in the engine. For racing it is of no consequence as the engine will be torn down after each race. For others is is a consideration unless you plan to dump the truck on an unsuspecting buyer.

This is what the internet is best at, spreading false information.

I'm still happy with how this setup turned out, but I do plan to retest my back pressure after tuning my truck to see how well the system handles the extra increased flow. Based on how low the back pressure was on the stock tune file, I'm thinking that this system should handle the extra flow without any significant increase in back pressure, but I am interested in seeing the actual numbers.
Are you still running this setup? Do you wish it was louder ever? The tone sounds good, but it seems a little quiet. Could just be the phone speakers. I have a 25 Tremor Eco and if I go with Corsa I might put on the 2-3 dB resonator instead of the 6-8.

I'm still running the same setup and I'm still happy with the sound. It is a little on the quiet side, but this truck is my daily driver so avoiding drone and excessive NVH takes priority. Even with my current setup, the cold starts are still loud enough that I worry about waking up my neighbors.

I find your setup interesting with the resonator after the muffler. Typically it goes before the muffler because it’s supposed to mellow out the frequencies before it enters the muffler. Obviously the Corsa kit doesn’t allow that. Do you think before vs after matters any?

The placement of the resonator and muffler can change the sound of the exhaust, but there's no right or wrong answer, it just comes down to preference and what fits. In many cases there's no real difference between a resonator and a muffler when they are both the same style of silencer.

Corsa's resonators aren't much more than a glasspack muffler, and their mufflers are a straight through design with resonance chambers designed to cancel out specific frequencies. One could argue that I have a very large resonator in front of a small glass pack muffler, but that's not how Corsa markets their products.
