Problem solved by disconnecting battery for five minutes, so probably a computer module needed reboot. More to the story:

New car wash in town opened today so it might be related to that. Went there and got a free wash. Key fob lock seemed to work fine when I got to work shortly thereafter. Went to pick up lunch later and as I was walking to the truck, I used Ford pass to start it and it started just fine but when got up to the truck and pressed the key fob to unlock, it would not unlock the door. So could also be glitchy app had it stuck in some weird mode I suppose. Had to manually use the cut key to unlock it. Both lock and unlock switches on the driver and passenger doors inside were inop too. On the fob, pressing lock or unlock, the truck lights would flash, however no lock or unlock of the doors. Even tried locking and unlocking with Ford pass and it would show that it locked and unlocked on the app, but it didn’t move the locks inside the vehicle. Turn the car off while picking up food same thing driving back to work. Later on it still didn’t work so I disconnected the negative from 12V battery for five minutes and then everything booted back up and works properly. I have a new H8 battery installed a couple months ago and have driven long distances recently (400 miles just 4 days ago and work is 25 minutes drive each way). I’ve had no other typical indications of bad battery problems, so don’t think it was battery related.

Anyway, if you ever have something electrical weirdly not work, try a battery disconnect and see if that fixes it. Gremlins!
