Electric Running Board Height

New to the forum. Just purchased a 21 Limited, coming from a 2012 Platinum. Is there any way to adjust the drop height on the running boards. They only come down a few inches and provide almost zero benefit. Maybe an aftermarket kit? Thanks in advance!

My 21 Lariat was specifically ordered without running boards. I purchased the Amp Running Boards and the drop really far. It's been over 2 years and zero issues. My salesman was surprised and he has a platinum like yours. Be prepared to drop some change because they are not cheap.

The AMP lowering kit will work on your boards and the result is approximately that of the 12 Platinum board height…downside is they also stow lower…I tried it and loved the deployed height but didn’t like the stowed height…I retrofitted a set of 20 power running boards and I’m satisfied. I thing the 21-23 boards could be attached to the older style platform and you could even keep your kick switch and forward bed access if that important to you.. mine is a 6.5 bed so the existing boards didn’t match up as cleanly as the 21-23 boards do on a 5.5 bed truck.
