My dad has 10 brothers and sisters, so we have a big family that likes to get together for holidays. This year I smoked a 8 or so lbs pork butt the night before. Once shredded, I put it in a crock pot i the back of the truck, plugged it in, and closed the bed cover. Of course, we fired up the PB pro power to warm it up and headed to the gathering. About 40min into the trip we could all smell a very faint smoked meat aroma. The crock pot on low was pulling anywhere from 220 to 210 if you are wondering. I love the truck for stuff like this, but how are we smelling what's covered in the back, with out any windows open going down the road at 70mph? I know this is a hybrid post with the PB and the aroma issue so I wasn't sure where it belonged! Hahahaha hybrid!

There are two air vents on the cab behind the rear seat to allow for constant fresh air flow. Air from the bed gets sucked up into these vents under certain conditions causing you to smell it.

Just wait till you haul a fresh load of compost home...

Great to know! Thanks for replying! I really felt bad for those behind us to be honest!
