I may be going crazy but on my 21 Lariat with projector headlights. When I first got this truck I made all the forscan changes that I wanted. Mainly the one where the headlamp switch doesn’t default back to auto. Since my windshield is tinted, my headlights come on way before it’s dark so I always kept it in the off position until it got dark. I always thought that my DRL’s (LED strips around the headlights) were on when in gear even with the switch to off. I recently noticed that they are not on unless the switch is on auto. Have I been driving around this whole time thinking they were on or did a recent update change something?

I think the DRLs vome on when in gear. You'll have to check it out. Might want some assistance. Most cars with DRLs have no tail light unless headlights are one. I see a lit of people driving at night with DRL switch not set to headlights. They usually get a ticket if cought.

I could have swore that my drl’s used to come on when in drive even with the switch to off. Ow for some reason the switch has to be set to auto for them to come on. ??‍♂
