Appreciate the above interest in my initial question re centre amber light between the two LED headlights.
Without boring with UK car lighting design and regulations they have been altered to operate to conform.
White DRL lights shine bright (would have thought as per Forscan modification in this thread) together with rear red tail lights plus rear plate lights, upon engine running and putting in drive. This occurs with light switch in position O and 1 ( we call side lights you call Park lights). In position 2 (auto) they stay the same bright light if headlights are not needed.
Position 2 dark enough to turn on headlights and position 3 ( headlights on dipped or main beam). The DRL's dim to the less bright light. This addresses the possibility of causing light glare problems when driving in the dark as mentioned.
Non flashing amber lamps are not permitted in the UK hence the center bar not lighting up.

Once the vehicle has been registered, amber marker lights on American trucks do not tend to draw the attention of the authorities and are often reinstated. I will try and locate where power to the amber strips has been isolated.

Camera does not bring out the difference of DRL brightness but is very different to the eye.

Hello guys - I just wanted to report a flickering issue since doing this. Mine is a 2021 XLT. My fog light isn't flickering, but the headlight DRL's. Primarily the passenger side, but also the driver side from time to time. I'm going to reset mind tonight to regular brightness and see if the flickering goes away.

There is a very very few people that have that flickering issue, you're the 3rd/4th person so far, but is an unrelated issue to the brightness mod. It will help if you restore it back to factory settings and cycle it on and off (without starting and within 10 seconds apart of each cycle) about 3-4 times, then turn the truck on with the door closed and off, open the door until the dash has completely turned off. Re-do the change again but triple check to make sure each line is in the correct number/letter. See if that does it again.

Any chance does this also increase the brightness when walking up to the truck with your fob? I can't stand that during the day the front LEDs are barely visible when I'm walking up to it.

I reset mine to stock…
I’ll drive it like this for a few days to make sure everything is back to normal with no flicker. If so, I’ll re-apply the change. I’ll keep everyone posted!

Holy crap I just did this. It is so bright! I'll have to see if I get some of the flickering others have gotten, but so far so good.

Did your flicker come back? If not, have you tried adding this back to see if the flicker returns?

Glad to hear and it’s definitely a great mod; I love it! I’ve had zero issues so far and I haven’t heard of anyone getting any more flickering yet. I believe it helps to restore the factory as-built, cycle the truck on and off like 3 times then try again.

I get the flickering anytime I apply the change. Sometimes it’s not right away but rather after driving for a while. Here’s an example.

I’ve Updated every module in the truck, restored Asbuilt data reset modules etc. so I’m convinced I’ve either got an LED issue or a BCM issue in respect to the hardware.

This is so weird, I know for sure with a lot of people that has done this mod, hasn't have this issue yet. I going to bet it is either the fog light assembly issue or the wiring. Maybe take it into Ford to see if they can look at it for you, possibly change that under warranty if needed?

That’s the plan. I’ve tried a couple time already however getting it to flicker on command is a hard thing to do.

I’ll continue to troubleshoot and take videos for them in the hopes they’ll replace something.

I had mine do this on my 2021 Raptor along with a few others. I'm not sure what causes it but its more common than we think. Theres no telling how long mine did it before i actually saw it. I think pretty much all of the reports and mine where the DRL in the headlight.

Perfect, sounds good. If you could report back once they looked into it because I’d like to know what is causing that flicker!

Okay now that’s strange! I believe right now you’re the only one that’s having the headlights flicker, which makes me wonder why the Raptor would do that but the tremors hasn’t had any issues yet; technically they’re the same headlights. The only thing different is the LED tail lights are different, the Raptor is tails is sole one that has dual brake lights with red turn signals in the rear.
