The blinker no longer deactivates BC; only the action of the steering wheel itself. Not sure what power-Up caused this, but I'm currently on 4.2.3

i think bc 1.2 does that, 1.0 blinker deactivates.

I will say, BC (because of iris monitoring) is bit of a hot garbage.

now I am not saying I want to fall asleep on the wheel (like some tesla drivers).

But the 5 seconds or so of monitoring makes BC completely (or near) useless. I can't even change podcasts on AA without it alerting

My blinker DID used to deactivate, but no longer, and as to when the change occurred, I can’t say exactly, as I don’t use it often (401/EC Row Windsor, ON and I-75 Detroit MI > Findlay OH), and I’ve had a few Power-Ups recently 4.2.1/4.2.2/4.2.3 so all I can confirm is it happened since April 12, 2023

Off topic: Noticed 10th gear is locked out. I know you monitor power-train metrics closely; did you lock it out for improved MPG?

I used mine last weekend for the first time, and it crowded the right side lane dividers badly. Sometimes the right tires were only 6" from the line. Is there a calibration for this? It also shut off going through road construction where the lanes were changed.

Wow. Good catch. :)

Since I was traveling at 80mph and locking out 10th, I am pretty confident that I was watching KR (knock) and OAR.

While I admit to enjoying the potential frugality with fuel that the Powerboost affords, I still treat it as an Ecoboost first. (my 5th Ecoboost. I'm a hopeless fan of that torque)
So after a few years with them, and torturing a few experts for all the information that I can get from them, I've become a nerd regarding participating (decision making) in the engine management of the combustion chamber.

By the way, it's not a static situation if you are cruising at a set speed. As the load changes (incline/decline/wind) the KR might suggest dropping a gear temporarily. I say that because 80mph is NOT lugging in 10th.

It'll look like this if you have Bluecruise and the road you are on supports it (your tachometer will disappear completely)
