And, they would have been gone with locks on them anyway. If they went through the trouble to leave it on blocks, they had the tool to break the locks....

Ha, live around metro Detroit or Orlando FL and you'd get it. A GM exec had the rims stolen off his manufacturer tagged C8 sitting in his driveway before they were publicly released. Wheel locks don't stop 'em.

Wheel locks are not nearly as inconvenient as the lock on my front door, I have to use that key multiple times a day and carry it around with me everywhere. I don't think any of the locks in my life are 100% effective, especially against someone who is prepared to bypass a lock. I still use them though.

Not really sure why they bother anyone. Even if it's not a full proof against theft at least it's some kind of a deterrent, but I can't see how it can be such a PITA to the owner that it has to be removed.

I feel like the deterrent of jacking a car up and removing the wheel is a lot bigger than cutting off the head of a bolt ??‍

Have separate winter and summer wheels. On prior vehicle stripped a lock while trying to take it off with an impact wrench. Mostly though it’s the fact that they charge for them that is ridiculous.
