Today while changing my oil, I noticed a dent in my intake tubing pictured. I took the piece off and it's pretty thick plastic so no chance in bending it back. Do you all think it's worth getting the dealer to switch it out for a new one? I assume it came from the factory like that. No visual strike mark from something striking it. Maybe someone dropped it during assembly and didn't see it.

It's to accommodate the HV coolant expansion tank on the Powerboost.

Same motor, of course

Just read this same post on the "other" forum. No one pointed out the PB. Mystery solved.

yes and it can be exhausting
but here is more people friendly imo
I should be completely honest, since there are some members here that are well aware of the fact, this is not my primary F150 forum. (hard to imagine since I'm such a blabbermouth here? ?)
But it's not THAT F150 forum either. ?

Let's just say I've been an F150 Ecoboost fan long before Ford released the Powerboost version of the Ecoboost.

I would like to think they started engineering and testing the PB at least 6 years before introduction so anything is possible.

No doubt the first concept and drawings date that far back commonly.
