Planning on getting a fuse kit. I know there are standard and mini blade fuses but are there also low profile minis?

Maybe just me but in 50+ years of vehicles and towing I can't recall a single instance of a blown fuse; certainly no instance of being stranded by one.

I've still got a collection of fuses I bought and carried for 'backup' back in the day when I worried about such, the only time I've used 'em is for the rare mod installation when I needed to 'add-a-fuse'. Yeah, I still carry that box, but in the spares-stash in my RV trailer.

Just sayin' (with knock-on-wood) ....

I hear ya but it didn't answer my question. ?

We did wind up with a short once while towing a popup and exhausted my supply before I could nail down the cause.

Also, in simpler vehicles, a blown fuse was maybe just an inconvenience, whereas on the PB, I imagine it will be sending constant warnings, until whatever is addressed. One small box stowed under the rear seat, is hardly a manic move.

I find no list of fuse types in the 2022 Workshop Manual; nor do I find a single list or diagram indicating the exact type of fuse used in each Fusebox location (at least not for the several possible types of blade fuses).

Referring to the Owner's Manual the list of fuses in each box doesn't ID fuse type, but I find this page:

Ford F-150 Decent fuse kit. Page from 2022-Ford-F-150-Owners-Manual-version-1_om_EN-US_10_2021

Yeah, assumptions are risky but one might hope that the type list on ^that^ page is complete insofar as the commonly replaceable types found in the vehicle. I know that list isn't complete insofar as some high-amp system fuses.

Good Luck!
