Where do I find the priority code?
From your Dealerhip.

Priority Code #10 is the default for a Special Order. I would advise that folks push to have that improved, by speaking directly to the Manager or whomever sets these flags (not the Salesperson).

@Seavee33 -

I wonder how much the 'Priority #' for our Special Orders matters, these days.

As a squeaky wheel, back in early February, I pushed and got my Jan 2nd Order improved to Priority #1. 8 weeks later, it was in Production. The truck is now in it's 6th week of 'seasoning' on the Dearborn Test Track, awaiting a microchip for the rear camera. I still have no dates as to when it will be built, shipped, or delivered.

In 2021, at least in my experience, the concept of 'Priority #' means little.
yea i guess no with the shortage the priority number doesn't mean much anymore.
How did you get so much detail on whats missing?
I may pay a visit to my dealer next week and request some info because i know nothing as of today.

I'm thinking the same thing...This was in the article as well:

Most recently, the Ford Dearborn Truck Plant – which builds the Ford F-150was idle the weeks of May 3rd and 10th
This is odd because my dealer texted me Monday (5/10) to inform me that my truck was built May 7th, (as scheduled) but then added "we'll see how long to ship- depends if it has to be retrofitted w/ chip" I've chosen to not check since everyone else has been waiting for so long I simply assume there'll be a delay (and besides, getting myself wound up about something I can't control seems like wasted energy), I texted him back to tell him that the current truck is crowding the mileage that we agreed on when we made the deal and his response was "don't worry about it" so now it's a game of wait and see!

I learned of this from my Dealership - from the Manager who controls orders, Priorities, and tracks deliveries. I try not to bother them more than once every couple of weeks but they've been as transparent as they can be. Dealers are frustrated too, as they have so little inventory. I'd recommend that you speak to your Salesperson and have him/her introduce you to the Manager. He/she can look into their Ford database and give you the same details they have. Best of luck!

Well, mine has been showing “In production” since the 24th last month. The Ford tracker also shows an ETA of the 12th.

my salesman told me yesterday what he was looking at said the 22nd...of June.

I see other trucks similar getting delivered. So I’m not sure what the hangup is.
I’m starting to think it’s just luck, being built at the right time when a shipment of parts come in. Trucks that are on the assembly line at that time get done...those sitting out waiting, well, we could finish them but it would take longer bringing them back here vs just building what’s on the line right now...
Actually that scenario makes some since from the supply chain logic, the other thing that strikes me is Ford is paying the (let's just be small minded and myopic for a moment) people on the assembly line to build these vehicles, so that is money going out, and all of those vehicles sitting offsite waiting (I'm sure someone is making a handsome fee for storage, so that's money going out) but if they don't ship them to the dealers (you know, the guys that buy vehicles from Ford to sell to us!) then they don't have a lot of money coming in! I understand that Ford is a global corporation, but I'll bet someone is chugging Maalox by the case worrying about the money! My dealer likes to have around 300 cars on the lot at all times and right now the lot on the east side of the building is as empty as the inside of my head...I'm guessing there's Maalox being chugged at dealerships as well!

19 is the default priority for retail orders, 10 is the highest a dealer can set it. Also, once a truck is scheduled, the priority is no longer used.

Speaking of which, I got this text from my salesman this afternoon

“Your F150 is pending w/an ETA by the 25th - we'll see”

i stand corrected. 10 is where I started but, you’re right that 19 is the default. Thank you.

Does it still have a blend date of 20210520? Top of the window sticker is missing.

@pierowman -

Progress! I love to see it! Very happy for you.

This also gives the rest of us who are waiting more hope that the log-jams are starting to loosen up - at least a bit. Thank you for sharing!

Ordered mine 12.28 and my window sticker showed up overnight too with a blend date of next Friday the 21st
Great news!

It looks like I'm about a week behind you (ordered on 01/02/2021.)

Maybe next week I'll get my Sticker back next week. (I'd had one for about 2 months until it mysteriously disappeared)

Best of luck.

Best of luck to you too! This is the first I’ve had a window sticker. Ramp shows 59 so I’ve got my fingers crossed it isn’t going to purgatory. I’m hoping that since it’s being delivered via convoy it won’t be stuck there
