My first Ford, Blend Date May 12, Dearborn. Shipped May 16 arrived to the dealership on June 4, I picked it up June 5.

It is a leadfoot gray Lariat, fully loaded, super crew, 3.5 EB, 502a package, sport package, Max tow, 360 Cameras, Copilot360 Active Prep with parking assist, FX4, panoramic roof, automatic running Boards, workspace, B&O Unleashed 18 speaker, lockable storage below the rear seats, factory spray on bedlIner, MSRP $71,000
I absolutely love this vehicle it has everything!!
Then in about 2 weeks AC started to blow hot air.

Dealership had the car for two full days, a leak was detected but was unable to locate/isolate the refrigerant leak.

Any Dearborn builds during the month of May or build week May 12 2021 have any AC issues? Per my service tech they are baffled and they are reaching out to the Ford Engineers about the issue since it is a brand new truck.

Thank you in advance

Try finding a different dealership, the dealership I bought my truck from agreed to fix my doors which were badly misaligned. They spent more time and energy not fixing the doors than it took to actually fix them at the second dealership.

My first dealership also acted like it was some kind of mystery that confounded them, which was very frustrating to me because I have experience with collision repair and have helped align doors before and knew it wasn't a difficult repair.

Some dealerships are known for having better service departments than others, hopefully a little research can locate one of those and it's not too far away.

AC diagnosis is something that requires a bit more dedication to the task than the average low wage tech can successfully accomplish with any repeatability. While the 2021 uses a different refrigerant than the 2020, it's basic function is the same as every other AC system in use for the past century. if they are reaching out to Ford and scratching their heads, it means that they have no clue what they are doing. Ford already provides the service departments with detailed service manuals that are some of the best I have seen and the dealership should also be equipped with some very extensive diagnostic equipment, unfortunately both those valuable resources are wasted if the service technician doesn't have the knowledge and experience to properly use them.

If I were in your position, I would be quickly taking my truck to a different dealership.

Good luck!

Off topic but, what is the payload capacity on your truck?

Thank you!! I will do that if the first dealership is unsuccessful.

Not as low as I thought it would be with all those options
