Well, I have two orders both 3/16. Blend dates of 4/28 and 4/29. 4/29 was delivered to me 6/22. Still waiting on 4/28 blend. Dealer has gotten a total of 4 trucks for dealer stock in that time. I think they have to do a combination of both or these dealers will go out of business. It isn't as simple as just do orders, orders are a guaranteed sale, they need inventory as well to be able to continue to pay their bills. Anyway, anything made in 1st week of May or later are being shipped immediately as they are not partially completed. It is those of us before that who were built with no chips stuck on hold.
Combination of info I have gleaned from different forums and what the dealer hinted at. I know that they have orders that hit the line in May that never got put on hold. Not that they are getting a ton of anything but they said it seems to be the PreMay builds that got built without chips.
My dealer got in 4 the other day, three stock units, and 1 of my special orders. They had all 3 stock sold before they got off the truck. They list them as "in transit" on their website and presell them before their arrival. I know used trucks have skyrocketed.
That is for sure. They gave me a ton of $ for my 2019 with 8200 miles on it.
Yeah, I sold my 2016 Z71 for more than I bought it for new.
Well that gets me excited. I placed my order last week and obviously have not heard back. I would love for my truck to show up in Aug.
99.9% of us would like it very much if we only had to wait about 8 weeks for our truck. Miracles have happened with fast deliveries, but don't hold your breath waiting for an August arrival. Maybe mid to late September at best. I do hope you are lucky and get one fast.
you should call the dealer to see if FORD pick up the order. I already got the VIN # from my dealer. I placed my order on 6/17.
Yours got picked up quick! I put my order in on 6/11 and am still unscheduled.
