Dashboard radio knob/buttons backlighting not working

Hi guys, 2021 King Ranch here and just recently I noticed that backlighting of the radio volume/tune knobs and source/radio control buttons was not working. Has anyone else experienced this? I reviewed the fuse box mapping and don't see anything isolated enough to solve this. Any ideas on how to fix? Would it take a trip in to the dealer to solve? The functionality of the buttons/knobs work, so I realize this isn't super important. But really noticeable at night.

I have exactly the same issue in my 2021 F150 Tremor.

Turned out it was a function of the battery having full charge. Which was surprising. The system shuts down power items deemed as non essential if the battery isn’t fully charged. The dealer replaced my battery and reset the BMS and all was solved. Wasn’t an issue with the radio or dash lights.

Strange — I have made an appointment and will let you know what they do.

I took the truck in for it to be looked at. I was told that the battery checked good, but there is short in the radio causing the buttons not to illuminate. The dealership is ordering in a new radio and will give me a call when it arrives and then schedule the truck in. I was also told they need to remove the seats to remove the center console to get at the radio.

You know I can’t help wonder if this occurred when I pushed the button that turns off the screen — is correctable with some weird button combo?

Wow. That sounds intense. I wouldn’t think the button to turn the display off would do that. Good luck with that repair.
If that doesn’t work, I’d have them look reset the system and ensure good charging status as that was my issue.
