Today has been crazy. After my last customer today I'm driving on Interstate 59 south for less than a mile making my to the plant when I notice a transport truck heading north. "That's my freaking truck"!!! Right on top first position. Has to be it...the dealership is just 15 miles north two exits away. Because of the spec it's kind of easy to spot... gray metallic long bed with extended running boards. Sure enough 40 minutes later I get a call from my salesman. I answer my phone asking him "is that my truck on top of that trailer??? I saw it!!
Good news -Bad news. Yes, it's your truck and it's damaged. He sent me a picture as we talked and described it as paint only , no dents. Perhaps driven on the railcar first and hit the inside front wall or shifted during the trip.
Strange thing is, I'm not that upset about the damage. Ordered on 2/2/22 the trucks been sitting for 45 days at the railway storage yard waiting for today. Perhaps the damaged bumper is what caused the delay. Either way I told the dealership "take your time and fix it right. I want it perfect. I've waited this long. "
