Mine was built 6/9 and awaiting shipment. Ford email estimated delivery will be next week sometime.

Where did you get this info from? Just want to follow up on mine. I'm in Houston as well and mine shipped on 5/25.

I got the info from Ford Chat. They gave me the rail line and rail car info as well. BTW, my truck on rail from Dearborn

Built 05/30 awaiting shipping.

It looks like if you were ever on any holds, chip or plant, you have a really good (or terrible) chance you'll be sitting on awaiting shipping for a while. Only making assumptions but seems like the trucks that get sent to other holding areas are barely touched were as trucks built right off the line are getting priority for shipping since it was never intended to be this kind of process for the hold lots.

Yeah, I was hoping for some clarity or to at least see that it was linear, but instead it seems to be all over the place. I was on chip hold for less than a week and now my truck is collecting dust like others waiting for shipment. Weird though that someone has had a truck sitting for over 2 months complete and waiting to ship and someone else's who was finished 2 months later has already shipped. I would have thought they used first in first out method when something was actually completed, but obviously they are using last in first out or not even bothering to use a method.

Just a guess here. But it probably costs Ford $$ to prep(?), move and park a vehicle in one of those fields. So if they have cars fresh off the line to ship out...saves them some money by not just swapping places with vehicles in the field.

But when they're spitting out and shipping 2000+/- trucks every day...Who knows what their system is. Or isn't.

In signature, but marked built June 10th, marked shipped RAIL from Dearborn June 12th. It's in Ft. Madison, Iowa right now. On it's way to Houston, TX (yep another one of us I guess).

Ford invoices the dealer at, or about blend date, whether a truck ships or not. If a truck runs down the line with no hitches & can get shipped quickly, that is just fine with Ford. Money has been made & they happily move on to the next one. On the other hand, if a truck has a warranty issue, or is on hold for a part, Ford does not allow anything to slow down production, & the associated revenue stream(on the books at least). If there is any kind of problem with a truck, it gets pushed figuratively to the far corner of the lot, until it is convenient & expedient for Ford to get it out of the way.

That is kind of a nasty way to do business, but that is how Ford does it. And if that doesn't upset those waiting Customers enough, Ford generally then enforces an absolute wall of silence & refuses to share any info on the nature of the delay. Ford will simply send out bimonthly emails saying "In order to ensure your complete satisfaction we will need more time before your 2022 F150 will be delivered".

Please note that that are many folks still waiting for trucks built in January. Lots of Ford truck Customers may not get their trucks until Ford does the end of the model year cleanup.

Just called Ford Marketing again and was told truck still in Melvindale, MI with no holds and continue to tell me delivery eta is 6/30-7/6. (My order timeline below in signature)

Ill be thrilled if this information is accurate and holds. Dealer td me 3 to 6 months after ordering, if I get it around July 20th that'll be a week short of 6 months. I know that's nothing for some folks here, but it has been a long journey for me

IF that was a date that could actually be relied upon, it would be great. You know as well as I do that the date is just a benchmark on the calendar, with no measurable relevance for Ford. Dates are just as apt to change as to not.

I sincerely hope that Ford just slips up and ships your truck this week! My dealer says they sometimes receive trucks that still show as awaiting shipping in their tracking system. Of course they also say that they have had very angry Customers on site looking for a vehicle that Ford has posted as delivered, even though it still has not been shipped. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Ordered 07/01/2021, re-ordered 10/23/2021, partially built 01/12/2022, estimated delivery - 02/08, then 02/28, then 05/08 and now 08/02. Still not built, no Ford Pass activation or 754 modules installed.

Ordered oct 1 2021,built march 16 shipped march 26 going from Detroit to Oakville ontario(4 hr drive)3 months later still no truck and no help from ford,delivery changes every week.not that it matters to ford but not sure I’m going to purchase it
