Surprise, Surprise, they even offer an insurance policy to cover that which can probably be included in the closing cost, hence financed at 0%.
note that your insurance company likely offered gap portion for small fraction of the cost of the financeable sucker policies the dealers sell.

It's ben a white, but it was $30/year on my e-150!

2024 F150 XL RCSB
Ford also took the bigger fog lights away from the 2023 XLT’s and replaced them with literally a light bulb. ?On the 2024 models you have to get a Lariat and up to get them.

Now on all the 2025 models the Key pads on the doors are gone. Or are you the type that don’t mind paying more for less every year? Oh let me guess you want me to name more features they took away? Here’s a video for you.

I mean, I don't care one way or another about those anyway. I don't want half the crap my XL has on it, let alone any of that.

But, I know I'm in the minority, so I'll just shut up. Back to your regularly scheduled Ford is the worst discussions.

2021 Lariat SuperCab 5.0
Occupation
Retired and not looking. I am driving the wife crazy.
I loaded up a 23 XLT. I drive mine full time. I am a drugstore cowboy. All hat and no cattle. So it is on the road for pleasure, not work. It was a great truck until it was totaled with 1,800 miles on it. When I went to replace it with a 2024 XLT, I was out of luck. I want a SuperCab and a 6.5' bed.

They quit making the SuperCab for the 24 XLT trimmed out like i had my 23. I had to find a 21 Lariat in order to replace my 23 XLT. So I end up with my shift on the console and a used truck to boot. My 23 XLT was on the column. It left me much more room on my console.

You are not reading my posts complaining about the truck. So yes, decontent is a problem. I still stuck with Ford, just not new. But still not happy.

That being said, I will likely die way before I wear out the truck. My son-in-law will take it over. He won't complain or care about the console shifter.

Otherwise I am happy with both him and the truck. He married The Princess. That was a good thing.

ehh, don't knock it.

I started not stepping outside without a 5" brim a bit over 30 years ago. I've gotten grief for it over the years, but a couple of weeks ago, I saw a dermatologist, and after examination was told that it probably saved me from skin cancer.

And a proper boot is just plain more comfortable than any eastern shoe . . .
